Home security. Home automation that detects fires before they happen

Until relatively recently, the only alert or warning that we could have when detecting fires was the smoke itself. Although this type of warning could help us avoid a large number of highly serious incidents, the margin we have to act in a situation of this nature is very small. Our technology is constantly being updated to alert about these dangers even before the fire breaks out. And you probably ask yourself, how is it possible? Our answer is thermal or thermographic technology and in this post we will tell you how it works.

The consequences of a fire are always unfortunate and even more so when the damage goes far beyond the material damages. If it is also an industrial area, in which there are many people involved and probably flammable material, it is essential to take all the necessary measures to prevent it in time and this can be achieved through thermal or thermographic technology.

Recently Mobotix, one of the brands we rely on when carrying out our projects, has launched thermal radiometry (TR) cameras with a calibrated thermal image sensor that is capable of measuring and differentiating any trace of radiation thermal over the entire image area. To alert us to the possibility of fire, the Mobotix device launches a notification at the moment in which the limits are exceeded and even the fire extinguishing measures that we have installed are activated.

Our technology brings together the best providers and existing resources, such as Mobotix, in order to detect these accidents reliably, as soon as possible and intervene quickly in order to protect people and avoid, as much as possible, any material damage. One of the great advantages, in addition to the simple installation of these systems, is that their operation reaches up to 60 meters from the heat source without losing effectiveness and speed when alerting us to danger.
